Rent conditions

Payment terms
- The amount to be paid to confirm your reservation is 40% of the rental amount, payment by bank transfer or credit card, within a maximum of 3 days from the date of the contract (*). If the reservation is made within 30 days of the arrival date, the deposit requested will be 70% of the rental amount.

- A second payment of 30% of the rental amount must be made at least 30 days before your arrival, payment by transfer or by credit card (*).
- The balance of the rental, tourist taxes and requested accessories, if there are any, will be paid in cash or credit card on the day of your arrival.
* If the payment dates are not respected, the reservation will be canceled and the sums paid forfeited. 

 

Cancellation of reservation
In the event of cancellation of the reservation by the tenant, he must notify in writing, via email to info@vacancescostabrava.cat, the cancellation request.
VACANCES COSTA BRAVA will reimburse, depending on the date of notification by email:
- If cancellation 60 days before the date of arrival, 70% of the amount paid with a minimum of 100 € administration fees.
- If cancellation between 60 and 30 days before the date of arrival, 50% of the amount paid minus € 100 administration fees.
- If cancellation less than 30 days, non-refundable reservation.

These cancellation conditions will not be applicable in a case of force majeure (government restrictions on mobility), VACANCES COSTA BRAVA will reimburse the full amount paid less € 100 for administrative fees.
If the tenant wishes to shorten the period reserved before the contract finalization date, he will not be able to negotiate the price or demand reimbursement.

Arrival and exit times
Arrival time is between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. If these times are not respected, you must contact VACANCES COSTA BRAVA to set another meeting day or time (always with notice and subject to availability by the agency), with a supplement to be paid of 40 €.
The departure time is between 8:30 am and 10 am by making an appointment with VACANCES COSTA BRAVA according to the agency's availability. The departure time must be strictely respected without exception or a penality will be charged.

 

Client's obligations
The OCCUPANCY of the accommodation shall be limited to the number of persons indicated in the contract, including children (without baby bed and over 18 months). VACANCES COSTA BRAVA may prohibit access to the accommodation if the number of persons exceeds the number indicated in the contract, or proceed with the removal if the maximum number is exceeded during the rental period. And the deposit will not be refund as a penality.
The tenant shall leave the accommodation in the same condition as he/she found it on arrival. The tenant must leave the accommodation in a presentable and tidy condition, whether or not he/she takes the CLEANING option. The dishes must be clean and put in their place, the fridge must be free of leftovers and the bins emptied. The outside garden or terrace, as well as the barbecue, must be left in the same condition as on arrival. If the tenant does not leave the accommodation in the described condition, VACANCES COSTA BRAVA reserves the right to deduct from the deposit the costs for the restoration.
The tenant must respect the rules of the condominium in which the accommodation is located. In case of negligence or bad behaviour, VACANCES COSTA BRAVA reserves the right to cancel the rental contract with immediate effect and without notice and the deposit will not be returned. ACCESS: It is the tenant's obligation to let the staff of VACANCES COSTA BRAVA enter the property in case repairs have to be done or if there is a garden to be able to do the correct maintenance.
HOUSES WITH SWIMMING POOL: VACANCES COSTA BRAVA staff must be allowed to enter when necessary for the maintenance of the swimming pool. The pool must be free of floating objects for the skimmers to work properly. Dogs or animals are not allowed in the pool. The deposit will not be refund if animals uses the pool.
If the tenant does not allow the maintenance staff in or does not comply with the above obligations, the deposit will NOT be refunded

 

Deposit
The amount of the deposit may vary according to the accommodation rented and must be paid in cash or credit card blocking to the person who will receive you on site. This amount will be returned within a maximum of 3 days once the inventory has been made, by bank transfer if it has been left in cash or unblocking the credit card deposit amount.

 

If the rental has been damaged, VACANCES COSTA BRAVA reserves the right to withhold the relevant amount to cover the damage caused. If they are greater than the amount of the deposit VACANCES COSTA BRAVA will claim from the tenant the difference to cover the total amount of the damage, and in case of not receiving this amount, will take the relevant legal actions.

 

Furniture inventory
It is advisable to check that everything is in order. All complaints must be made within 24 hours of your arrival. We will not accept complaints at the end of your stay.

 

The rented properties have the necessary kitchen utensils for the number of people indicated in each rental. If at the time of arrival something is missing (glasses, plates, etc.) it must be communicated to the agency the same day. If during your stay there is something that breaks, it must be communicated to VACANCES COSTA BRAVA and returned the object with the same characteristics, or paid for its value. VACANCES COSTA BRAVA reserves the right to withhold the amount of broken or damaged item / s from the deposit. 

 

Costs included in the rental price
Administrative fees, water and gas consumption are included in the rental price with the exception of accommodation which, by virtue of their characteristics or the rental period, may have excessive consumption. In the event that the price does not include the consumption of water and gas, VACANCES COSTA BRAVA will inform the rental conditions before making the reservation.
The electricity consumption is up to 100 Kw per week for flats and 150 Kw for houses. These consumptions are calculated according to normal use for each type of accommodation.  If the consumption exceeds the amounts included, the extra Kw consumed will be charged at 0,40€/Kw.
However, water, gas and electricity must be used responsibly. For the good of the environment. Condominium fees, taxes, garbage, etc., are also included in the rental price. 

 

Costs not included in the rental price
- Tourist taxes: according to article 17.1 of Law 19/2014 of the Generalitat de Catalunya, on the day of your arrival this tax will be applied according to the rate approved by the government.
- Final cleaning: if you wish to take this option, the price will be indicated to you when making the reservation. If you do not take the option, you must leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as you found it when you arrived (cleaning products are not provided). VACANCES COSTA BRAVA reserves the right to withhold the deposit to cover cleaning costs if the rental is not in these conditions at the time of checkout.
- Linens: sheets or towels are not included in the rental price. VACANCES COSTA BRAVA provides their customers with a linen rental service. Interest in this service must be communicated in advance, otherwise VACANCES COSTA BRAVA cannot guarantee the availability of its supplier.
- Animal supplement: in rentals where animals are accepted, check the amount to be paid.
- Accessories: you will find the various accessories offered by the agency, when making the reservation via our site.

Privacity policy

All communications with vacancescostabrava.fr/cat by any means or through your email address, or the forms of this web or email, implies consent that their personal data will be included in the files of VCB L'ESCALA SL located in Avda.
